The Get Down event is a workshop that was created in Calgary featuring masters of hip hop intensively training dancers in their community for an entire week. For the FIRST TIME EVER, Vancouver will host this workshop featuring:
SUGAPOP, CALEAF, POPPING PETE, and GREG CAMBELLOCK JR.!!!!!
Each of these dancers has had a hand in the creation of their respective styles and has been pioneering the dance for 20-30 years all over the world. The depth of their knowledge is definitely something you don’t want to miss out on! This is an amazing opportunity for street dancers of all levels to learn from the very best. Beginner dancers can kick start their dance training by learning a week’s worth of core foundation from the original source, while advanced dancers can strive to reach that elusive next level and really take some significant steps in their dance. Whichever category you are in, you will greatly benefit from this workshop!
